Why You Should Choose
Natural Wood Veneer

Many different materials are available today to make the products that meet the worlds needs.

Natural wood has long been used throughout history as both a building and consumer products material.

Only since the Industrial Revolution, has natural wood been replaced as the dominant material used to meet consumer needs.

The intention to reduce deforestation around the world is meant to benefit our environment.

However, it's not as environmentally friendly as many would like to believe.

Natural wood is superior to other available materials, such as plastic and metal, in regard to its long-term environmental impact.

Wood is a renewable resource.

We purchase our standing timber and logs from managed forests.

Our managed forest programs include selective harvest, which allows for consistent growth of younger trees.

In return, our managed forests naturally and effectively remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.

The environmental impact of converting trees into consumer products is lower than other materials.

We utilize the scrap generated in our veneer mill as biofuel. Our wood-fired boiler is used to generate steam to cook the logs in our vats, dry the veneer in our dryers, flatten the veneer in our press, as well as for general heating. This reduces our reliance on fossil fuels.

At the end of their life-span, natural wood products are biodegradable.

Concrete, metal, and plastics take an exceptionally long time to decompose.

When exposed to the elements, wood will rot and decompose naturally...

And nourish the surrounding soil.

But what about your environment?

Natural wood is aesthetically pleasing.

It provides a perceived warmth and character that creates a soothing environment.

Wood naturally absorbs sound, which reduces echoes in residences and workplaces.

It provides a relaxing and comfortable environment.
